Camoroda Family

Today Allison and I went out with the Camoroda Family and spent some time capturing one of the last days of their daughters being 5. We had a lot of fun spending this time with them and capturing these pictures.

Child Portrait Session- $75
-Includes 1-1 1/2 Hour Photography Session anywhere in the Enid Area
- All immediate children in the family
- 10-15 Edited Photos on a Disc
- Prints cost extra

Family Portrait Session- $120
-1- 1 1/2 hour Photography Session
- Family of Four ($25 each additional family member)
- 15-20 Edited Photos on Disc
- Prints cost extra

Pictures with the Roberts Family

Yesterday Allison and I went out with the Roberts family to one of the orchards here in town, we had so much fun watching Ryan and Karle play with Preston, and were fortunate to get the opportunity to share and capture this playtime in pictures. Pfalzgraff Boys and Their Cousins

Today I had the awesome opportunity to do a picture session with Braxton and Nolan Pfalzgraff and their cousins Ryan and Natalie. Talk about a learning experience for me! It was so much fun trying to keep up with the kids as they were moving around and playing out in the field on our property.

I love Shooting my Wife

Here are some more photos from yesterday when we went out on the property and did some portraits. I love taking pictures of my wife she is so beautiful (even when she may think differently.) She has an awesome eye for photography and she always has some input on any of the shots. I have been truly blessed with her loving me.

Allison and I went out into the yard to take advantage of the break in the rain and great lighting. Here are a few of the pictures that I have had the opportunity to edit so far.

Excited

As long as the weather is not terrible tomorrow I will be dong a photo session for the Roberts' family! It will be my first time doing portraits for someone other than Alli, so I am looking forward to the experience that I will gain from the session.

Then next Thursday I will be doing another session with the Pfalzgraff boys and their cousins. Again this will be another great learning experience for me.

After I finish both sessions and get the photos edited I will be posting them up here so everyone can check them out.

New Gadgets and Programs

Yesterday I became a proud new owner of a Macbook Pro 17" so I can edit photos on the go and also give me the ability to download the photos from my camera at any point. It came with Adobe Photoshop CS4 which is an awesome program, and then last night I downloaded Apple's Aperture 3 which has a lot of really cool options for quick editing and plug-ins for adding different effects to the photos.

I am looking forward to continue learning how to use CS4 and now learning all about Aperture 3.

Here is a photo that I edited using Aperture 3 and a couple of the preset quick editing options. I really like using the Toy Camera preset.

Fun with Sparklers

The other night Allison and I went out to the back patio with some of the old style sparklers (yes the metal ones). Set the camera to manual and played with exposure lengths. Here are some of the pictures that we got.

Here are two versions of the same picture but I was playing with Photoshop today.

Night Shooting

Luke and I went out Friday night a caught some pictures of the sunset and then headed back out to get some night sky shots. This was the second time I have been able to take out the Nikon and this time I had a "new used" lens that I was able to play with.

I wish this weather would clear up so I can go out and take some pictures.

My New Camera

My new camera came in today! Too bad I have to work a really long and late shift at work tonight. I am planning on taking it with me so if we have a slow night at work I can explore all of the new options and things that are on this camera.

I am really looking forward to getting the hang of this camera and seeing the photographs I take with it.
